Celebrate our 90th Birthday with $5 Tenders all Week! And, try our all new “Boulevard Ice Cream Parlor”
Monday, Aug. 29 through Saturday, Sept. 3, the Tenderloin Grill, “Home of KC’s Best Tender” celebrates 90 years on the Boulevard! Monday through Saturday, Aug.
29-Sept 3, 2022, the Tenderloin Grill’s world-famous Pork Tenderloin sandwiches (Tenders as we call ’em!) are jsut $5 each (while supplies last). And, customers with pet dogs will also receive a free “pup cup” – which our furry friends can enjoy on the Grill’s recently expanded – and pet friendly – outdoor patio!
And there’s more, from 3 to 6pm, on Wednesday, Aug. 31st, the Grill’s official anniversary date, each customer that purchases a tenderloin sandwich will receive a FREE one-scoop ice cream cone from the Grill’s all new “Boulevard Ice Cream Parlor”! And to make this birthday even MORE special, 15% of proceeds from sales all week will be donated to the K.C. Pet Project!
According to Angel Hernandez, Tenderloin Grill partner and General Manager: “I’ve been a Westside resident my whole life and I’ve been coming to the Tenderloin Grill since I was a kid. Back then I’d save up nickels from pop bottle returns and then head over to the Tenderloin Grill for a tender. It was the highlight of my week. So, when the Grill was up for sale last year my two partners and I jumped at the chance.
“Expanding the Grill dining area and adding the new Boulevard Ice Cream Parlor at the Grill a few weeks ago has also been really exciting. We’re serving up cones, banana splits, shakes – you name it – all made with Tillamook Ice Cream. Kids and adults are really loving it!
“For me, to be able to carry on the Tenderloin Grill legacy into a 90th year is just an honor. It’s a neighborhood institution that I’m glad we could keep growing. We welcome our many past customers – and new ones who haven’t tried us yet – to stop in for a $5 tender and a cone, or try something new on the menu, it’s all delicious! We’re also super-excited to donate 15% of all sales all week to the KC Pet Project. I just adopted my own dog there and it was a great experience. KC Pet Project does so many amazing things for this community, so we’re really glad to be able to give something back to them.”
